nice hotel next to SOGO
if you're not a fussy type of person, then this place will suit you. it is actually located in a very convenient area, which is right next to SOGO and there is MRT right in front of SOGO so you can take the mrt n go wherever. The room I had wasn't very big but was ok for 2 person but the ceiling was not concealed very properly and the toilet was alright. Its more like a Private room dormitory with washing machine and water supply outside your room for everyone to share n use.

Great place, everyone is awesome
As Expedia says, you have to check in at one location and the hotel is in another location. The check-in hours are also more limited than standard. Being a traveler from the US speaking only English, this was a confusing and difficult process for me. I might have done better to choose a normal hotel. Once at the location, everything was awesome. Everyone was super helpful and wonderful people. Now that I know where it is, and how and when to check in, I will certainly be back.

Without check-in desk, need to call the staff to bring us to hotel. It is not convenience for family travel. Moreover, they have 3 blocks in different location. I booked family room for 4 person, first 5 nights they provide a big room for 4 of us with sitting room and windows. Last night stay at Taipei, they provided a twin room with extra bed only, the room is without window. The reason is the big room must stay more than 3 nights continuity. Terrible is no one clear the room daily. Without exchange towel even stay 5 nights. Only the staff and location is good.

If u look for a nightmare, stay with ezbookers
Down the alley to suburban area (don't trust the address) and staff just led us down the alley instead of the original address as booked. Flies everywhere, basin outside toilet, poorly furnished, everyone breaks down with an odor. Most horrible experience. Worse still, it's both Expedia & hotel's responsibility to ensure the accuracy of info on website but they didn't. And even complained via IDD calls and long emails, no corrective measure is received still. No apology nor explanation and everyone is saying its not their problem. Horrible. Disappointed esp I am a return customers for both hotel & Expedia. Never book both again.

specific location is difficult to identify. dont check in after 9pm as it be challenging as there is no proper check in area/concierge. seems like a residential home converted into guest rooms. Room is quite clean with few amenities. location is about 10mins walk to subway. Poor sound proofing of room.

Nice cheaper stay
This place is close to the Metro and it's a good area to stay in Taipei. The room is clean and simple and serves its purpose. If you want to indulge in the hotel, this place is not for you. If you're exploring Taiwan and just want a clean place to stay and shower, this place is for you. Internet was fine. TV has quite a few channels. The only thing I found a little odd was that the washroom is small and is surrounded by a frosted glass wall/door. Even though it's tainted/frosted, you can kind of make out what the person is doing in the washroom by looking at the shape of the shadow. That was kind of interesting.
