Fun place to stay!
I *loved* staying here. The only drawback was it's advertised as having wifi in the room but the only wifi available is in the pub itself. Though, after staying, I wouldn't hesitate to stay again knowing that ahead of time. The food was great and the people were as well. In fact, this is the first place I told everyone back home about! :)

Typical old English Village
It was a very nice quaint village Pub with hotel and a pleasure to be there. The staff was friendly and helpful, the pub food and drinks were good and the room was properly furnished, clean and had excellent bath facilities. I would stay there again and recommend it.

It did the job
We visited family in the area and had a meal in the pub. The menu choice was good, however I was not served what I ordered ( I was given a variation on the dish). When I mentioned this at the end of the meal they didn't charge me, which was fair enough. The accommodation was adequate, a smallish bedroom but the heavy shower head drooped, so had to be held or fixed constantly when in use. A good supply of tea, coffee etc was provided in the room which was quiet (we were the only ones staying). The cooked breakfast next morning was huge! The young staff team were very friendly and helpful and there is a gorgeous resident labrador who kept us company! Parking facilities are good although we were lucky to get the last space on arrival.
