Everything you need & more!!!
Clean, comfy room, friendly staff, easy parking (and that was in a 7.5 ton truck) and lastly probably one of the best cooked breakfasts we’ve had in a while. 10 out of 10. Also plenty of take aways, pubs and shops in the immediate area.

The Lamb Inn, Marlborough
smelly and grubby
well for the price this was pretty awful - the pub smelt awful the minute we walked in either rotting cabbages or someone with bad wind best describes it. the journey from bar to room was off putting as we went up some grubby stairway, the room itself looked initially fine but later proved pretty grim - the bed smelt , either the duvet or mattress had an old body odour and the floor needed hoovering . the " ensuite " was like a tiny cupboard with a sliding door that didnt close properly. at breakfast we were presented with a full english without anyone asking if we wanted it or any version of it- we had requested a continental the night before . we then got toast and croissants which to be fair were fine but the jam was like coloured glucose syrup - horrible and gloopy and just tasted of sugar , not sure what flavour it was supposed to be. It beggars belief that they can charge £80 for such low quality accommodation.
