Great location in Old Town Lyon. Room had so much character. Would definitely stay here again.

Vieux Lyon garret - charming with recommendations
Two nights in a fifth floor one bedroom unit. Definitely vintage apartment with roof top views - some of the furnishings were not in good shape. Only one key - needed to both open and lock the door from both sides - limited flexibility. Recommend future guests find out exactly which apartment they are getting since this is more air bnb than hotel.

Fantastic gem
This is absolutely enchanting place! Felt like our own rather than a generic hotel. Beautifully appointed and extremely clean. Location was right in the heart of the old city, with easy walking access to so many restaurants and sites. We would definitely stay again.

Lyon in October
Loved this apartment in the historic district of Lyon. Easy walking to everything. It was quiet, clean and we loved the history of the building. Beautiful staircase! The owner gave us some good recommendations for dinner too. It is hard to find so beware with taxi drivers.

Step back into the Rennaissance!
We felt as though we stepped back hundreds of years into authentic history by staying in the heart of old town Lyon. We parked free for three days on the street high above on Montee St Barthelemy. After some confusion, we found Vincent and he navigated us to our apartment on rue Juverie. Our apt was Loges de Artiste and was on the fifth floor of a marvelous, old building. It was well-appointed and had a most comfortable bathtub. The kitchen had all the needed amenities and we had peaceful sleeps. The only negatives were difficulty unlocking the door and uncomfortable dining chairs with little extra, soft seating. Vincent gave us very detailed suggestions for our stay and left us very helpful maps. Everything was within walking distance - bakeries, markets, shops, le bouchons, and historical sites. Old town is a photographer and historian's paradise. We visited the Gadagne museum which houses the Lyon History and the puppet museums. The steep walk all the way to the top to enter the Basilique Notre-Dame de Fourviere was well worth it - breath-taking views and a gorgeous cathedral. We loved the shops and had good food. We also crossed the river and had fun clothes shopping. Dinner at the recommended bouchons in okd town began at 8 pm and we were often too early. We did enjoy a lovely, but expensive, dinner on our last night at Cafe Epicerie. We didn't have time to explore all the bouchons, shops, traboules or museums, so we must return.
