Achilleos City Hotel, Larnaca

My wife and I only stayed one night after 40 hours at airports and in planes, and we both absolutely loved the hotel. Granted, the rooms are on the small side, particularly the bathroom, but who visits Cyprus to sit in a hotel room. The rooms are adequate in size for somewhere to sleep, shower and change clothes. All other details are superb rather than adequate. Soft blue lighting comes on as you enter the room. Great bedside lighting with a soft-touch button on the bed headboard. a nice balcony with a small airing rack fitted to the outside wall. An excellent walk-in shower although floor space outside the shower was minimal. And the 4th floor breakfast room serves a good variety of treats to start the day with a million dollar view over the beach. Both the beach and the vast array of food & drink outlets are just a minute walk from the hotel. Totally loved our stay and we will be back.

Hotel is handy for everything but pavements, cars and narrow street could put some off. We had a great stay. Breakfast is well organised, good quality and has lovely view of beach. Very friendly helpful staff. Room had no balcony so was a bit small for a week's stay but there are rooms with balconies. It was very comfortable ,well-serviced and had tea and coffee facilities. Air con system worked a treat. Only negative was a very noisy Saturday night with young ones talking and laughing and slamming doors all through the night. After that it was fine though it is a working city and workmen, bin men etc start at daylight.

this is agreat hotel it 2 star hotel but should be 4 to 5 star no less the staff is great 'smiling , friendly, willing to help in any thing we asked,really profinonal. breakfast just great more then enough the weiter well come you with smille and explain you where evry thing,room was comfort but the closset need more shelf, the location is great 2 minutts walk to main Esplanade,1 minuts walk to main shopping street. good wifi for the ladies in opposit of the hotel there is 1store for more famous english store chien Evvens and Doroty parker. we diffently back to this hotel and great staff again

I stayed here for 1 night prior to an early flight from Larnaka airport. The hotel has been nicely decorated and furnished, the bed was comfy and the small ensuite clean and had everything I needed. Reception staff were friendly and helpful. Location is in the centre of Larnaka and only a 10 minute drive from the airport. For a stay in central Larnaka it would be perfect as it is walking distance to everything, bars, shops, Finikoudes and restaurants.

Overall nice and renovated hotel in a decent location - walking distance from the beach and lots of eating options. Good value for money , even though it was an off-season stay. Parking is literally non-existent and can fit 3-4 cars at best. I wouldn't advertise it as "dedicated hotel parking". Blankets are super worn out - need replacing. The panel with USB, power slots, etc mounted on the wall didn't seem to be working or I just didn't get it. Decent breakfast with a good view from 4th floor.
