The Galleri by Katathani, Karon

This was by far one of the most amazing hotels I’ve ever experienced. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating during our stay; they provided such a great environment. The breakfast spread has everything you need and more. And the rooms. Ahhh! So great. The bed was comfy; and we felt right at home. It was extremely clean and well kept. The tub was by far my favorite part! Every morning, I woke up, made a cup of coffee and took a nice warm bath as I watched the sun rise. I would stay here again and again! My husband and I are so grateful for the beautiful retreat this hotel provided on our anniversary.

We enjoyed our short visit at this hotel. It’s far to get there from the airport but it is worth it once you get there. The pool and lounging area was awesome. The access to the room was like a maze and the elevator only accommodate 4 skinny people.

To sum up,it was amazing stay in the hotel.Our check in was done within 5minutes,one of the efficient ones we experienced. No regret of paying extra for the ocean View suite,was scenic.Room is amazingly huge,the bed size is joint double queen;easily can fit four people in. One thing I like about the hotel was the breakfast hour,is until 1pm.So you don’t have to wake up early just to have breakfast and must order their dish of the day(usually rice set).Remember to take photo around the pool area,one of the scenic view The only downside was the uphill road leading to hotel which pretty steep in my opinion.Wouldnt recommend to walk up or down if you have family as there are no proper walkway,have to extremely careful. Would definitely suggest you to rent car instead,otherwise you can ridicously pricy(200baht) ride up or down. Don’t have to worry about places to eat or shop there are plenty of shops just 5mins away.Of course you can’t compare with Patong beach area Overall I I would highly recommend this hotel for family,couple and friends

Cute, design-oriented hotel with an incredible view above Kata Beach, but for the price point, it lacks some of the polish of a luxury property. The air-conditioner in the room was very noisy and I had to wear earplugs to sleep. The restaurant was also very hit or miss and overall, I felt the staff was a bit indifferent. Nice, but not a great value.

Lovely hotel, facilities superb, food excellent, staff very friendly and can’t do enough for you. If there was only one criticism it would be the shuttle bus- you could do with running them half hourly or hourly but otherwise no criticism
