Nakamuraya Ryokan, Sapporo
A traditional hotel in the heart of Sapporo
A comfortable Japanese-style hotel, within walking distance of Sapporo station, right between the botanical gardens and the former government building, and an easy walk to Hokkaido University, and Odori Park. My only gripe would be that wifi is only in the lobby, where the designated smoking area is. A tip: spring for the Japanese's very reasonably priced, the food is pretty good, and it's a great way to start your day of exploring.

fantastic was the comment from my brother-in-law. This was his first visit, while this was my third visit and I would not choose to stay anywhere else. The service is impeccable.

Unique ryokan in the heart of Sapporo
Most courteous staff, our third stay here. Excellent location, and it was interesting to find out about how the place has been owned by so many generations
