Not bad, not great
Weather was great! The facility was nice overall. The furniture in the room was terrible. The bed was like sleeping on a rock and only two very worn out pillows on a king size bed. The breakfast buffet was great, and you should really take that opertunity to fill up. As the lunch and dinner buffets were not at all tasty. The staff were attentive and did their best make you happy.

Awful resort with tricks to time share
Booked 2 rooms and the service was horrible. The suites were filthy and the power went out several times. I was also stuck in an elevator and the hotel did NOTHING about it.

I booked a 2 bedroom trip for 4 people when I arrived they it was only for 2 people and we were a ridiculous amount for the 2 additional people; the TV in both bedrooms did not work; the safe was broken so i had to carry my purse with each time I left the room; the bathroom and showers had so much rust and mold that I used the spa facilities each day! The furniture was old and torn and dangerous to utilize! This all being reported to the front desk supervisor on DAY 1 and at DAY 4 had NOT being addressed! I could go on and on with what is BAD at this property but sum it up by saying that I WILL NEVER HERE EVER AGAIN!!!!

We got a one bedroom apartment, very nice and confortable. What I liked the most about this resort is that is not that big. We were in the most distant building from the beach and it was only a five minutes walk. The buffet restaurant has a good variety of food, the japanese is very good and the italian is not so italian. The entertaiment people are very nice. The resort sellers approach you the first day trying to sell you the time sharing, but if you are not interested they don't bother you again. One only thing...if you make local calls from your apartment the charge is $8 per call, but you can make them for free from the checking desk. (we did not know..and were charged!!)

A wonderful little resort on the Punta Cana beach
With having read the reviews, I'll be honest, I was nervous. I'm not a picky person, nor one that expects every hotel to be the Ritz (especially since we got SUCH a reasonable deal for this place on Flash Sale), but I was nervous. But after being at the hotel for 9 days (8 nights), I was incredibly happy with our stay! It's a small resort, as others pointed out, but I enjoyed that aspect because we really got to know the people working there. I speak Spanish, which made things a bit easier (many of the staff speak little English), but let's get this clear: you are in a *foreign country* where the primary language is Spanish, and you are also in a country where people don't have that much. We left a couple of dollars for the maid each day and she left the room spotless. With FLOWERS. We tipped our servers and bartenders a couple of bucks daily and received amazing service. This is *customary* in a setting like this because again, you're not paying Ritz prices. Anyway, enough with my soapbox. Say "NO" to the timeshare people and they have to leave you alone. Easy! You're also in a tropical country that gets a lot of hurricanes. We did get a little sewage smell our first day in the room, but I realized it was coming from the overflow drains in the bathroom. A glass or two of water poured down there daily? No smell. I would absolutely return. Jisselle at the bar and Francis in the dining room, as well as Yolanda, the housekeeper, made our stay great.
