good hotel in a not so good neighborhood
Almendro had great breakfast in an ok neighborhood near the UCA which is a university. Places to eat were not as near as I would've liked them to be. But hotel itself was clean, quiet and well protected.

Good option for a convenient stay in Managua
This is a nice small hotel surrounded by a quiet neighborhood. The entrance to the hotel is kind of misleading: it is a locked door right by a secondary road. I am guessing they do this because of safety. They have a parking lot so your car will be maintained safely. Rooms have a nice size, and beds are comfortable. Location for this place is good, as it has many great business nearby, and you can walk to nice restaurants and a large shopping center nearby.

Clean, Pleasant, Relaxing, Friendly
Upon arriving we were greeted by the night security who opens the gate and lets you in to a secure parking area. The staff is pleasant and willing to help in anyway possible. Very informative of the surrounding area. The room we stayed in was clean with fresh sheets, clean dishes, well stocked bathroom. Every morning we went down to breakfast where a friendly staff member prepares an egg, beans, and rice breakfast. They are willing to accommodate your needs of taste when possible. Coffee, hot tea, variety of fruits and breads are served also. Makes the stay a more enjoyable one. They offer a laundry service which is convenient and reasonably priced. We received our clothes back the next day folded neatly in a bag on the bed. The hot water, kitchenette, and a/c are a great perk too!! Highly recommend for a leisure vacation or a business stay

Small details that will make the experience better
The overall stay was nice. The area in which this hotel could improve is the breakfast. My stay lasted four nights/days and aside from the last morning's meal which included a delicious nacatamal none of the breakfasts included breakfast meats such as bacon, sausage or ham. This may not be a big deal for anyone else, but my breakfast is not complete without a breakfast meat. Another small detail was the coffee situation. Once the pot of coffee was finished that was it. They did not make another pot. Besides these minor inconveniences my stay was nice.
