small stinky rooms - not recommended.
Worst hotel in the Best Location in Cusco - right outside the main square (plaza de armas) we stayed for 3 night there - Day1: we had room#304 - this room was really small. felt very claustrophobic and suffocated. Checked if they had a fan for some circulation/ventilation but nope. could not sleep all night. Day2: we moved to room#302 - which had a small window for some ventilation. But the bathroom had a stink to it. And the stink was maddening. used up half a perfume bottle to barely breathe. Day3: we covered drain holes with a towel to get control the smell which helped. the smell was probably due to flooding under the tiles. but ruined the experience. only two rooms in the entire hotel are good - the ones with the view are better and bigger. but double the price. I would not recommend this hotel . Stayed at a different hotel when back to Cusco.

Location, location, location
You simply cannot beat the location. While we found the hotel reasonably comfortable, if you choose to stay here it should be to be close to so much history, food and activity. We were generally awoken early by activity in the hotel or on the square, and the bathrooms are a bit tight. But again, you can't beat being right on the Plaza.

Great hotel and location
I loved staying at this hotel but it might not be for everyone. If you get a room that faces Plaza de Armas the views will be awesome but crowd noise may keep you up or early morning delivery trucks may wake you up. If noise is an issue for you, the early rising adventurers who walk down the creaky stairs may also disrupt your sleep. The hot water never ran out which definitely wasn’t the experience of some travelers I talked to had, who were staying in Airbnb places. The breakfast area in the basement is nice and the food was tasty and plentiful. If anything ran low the nice lady working the buffet would get me whatever I wanted. When it was time to finally leave the lady at the front desk called me a taxi (rather than having to deal with the crazy line of them our in the square) and it only cost me s20 rather than the s35 I was charged on the way in.

Amazing location in Cusco
We have gone several times to Cusco and we can assure that the location of this hotel is the best.Beautiful view from a balcony to the Main Square,Vathedral,Compañia,close to restaurants, exchange money stands, markets, museums,La Merced. The only thing is a minus is the noise at night the weekends or festivities.
