Not the best.
I stayed here one night in transit through Bangkok airport. I got lucky on shuttle pick up to hear someone say "Phoenix" as I could not find the person. Shuttle service was very good. Check in was fast and friendly. Room shows a bit of age but was certainly fine for a night. One downside was the room was not soundproofed so aircraft noise was an issue. I had massive internet issues and it turned out I needed internet access. Internet was unuseable for several hours. Around 11pm or midnight it worked fine. Early morning shuttle to airport was all good. I have stayed at other places near the airport and had no issues. the price and rating on Hotels.com were the reason I tried the Phoenix. I doubt I would stay there again given the internet and aircraft noise issues I had.

I will never stay here again
Doorman or doormen (possibly a team of 2+) stole items from our luggage. Luckily they were mostly just men's shirts, so it wasn't that valuable. But I have never stayed in a hotel where some of the staff were dishonest and thieves. The front desk staff were professional and I do not think they had anything to do with theft; nonetheless, I will never book this hotel again. The breakfast was slightly below par, because the waitress we had was not very nice, which is unusual in Thailand as most hotel restaurant staff you will meet go above and beyond. Minus the theft incident and unfriendly restaurant waitress, the overall hotel stay rating is about average, because it is very conveniently located near the airport and the shuttle service they offer is reliable.

My goto place for a quick and trouble free stay .
The 24/7 airport shuttle service worked out well. One of the double beds had a matress.. let's not call it a matress, I'm not sure what it was. a medieval torture device. the other was really nice. If youre headed into the city the walk to the airport rail link is easy. You have to cross the train tracks and deal with a few soi dogs but it's a nice stroll through the neighborhood. Do not do this at night. The dogs tend to roam in packs and get a little aggressive. Other options to get to the airport rail station are the local motorbike taxis or just take a taxi.. oh cross the bridge and feed the catfish in the canal. you donate some $ to the wat and get a bucket of bread to feed the fish.

The worst from my trip to Thailand
I stayed in several hotels during my trip to Thailad, and this one was by far the worst of them....The only good thing I can comment is that it is close to the airport and it has a good staff, but It was NOT what it was shown in the pictures when I booked it. If having the opportunity, book another place
