Southern Conmfort at it's finest!
This is the best place to stay IMHO if you are in Charleston. The staff are the most sincere in terms of ensuring a comfortable stay. The car drop-off service is extremely convenient and actually works! The concierge is very helpful and attentive. During our stay, the fire alarm went off and though it was during the middle of the night, the staff was very concerned and apologetic. They were genuinely concerned, even staff that was not on site that night. At other hotels I have wanted to remember names of individuals that stood out, at the Dewberry every single staff member stood out. I highly recommend. The only down side is the price, but you really do get what you pay for. I would definitely stay here again.

Great babymoon at the Dewberry
My wife and I visited the Dewberry for a few nights for our babymoon. Everything about the stay was wonderful. My wife really enjoyed the onsite spa, and the living room cocktail area was a great way to end each day. The location of the Dewberry is great, as it is only a short 10 minute walk from the market and shopping area of downtown Charleston. The room (we had a Grand Room) was in great condition and the shower/bathroom was very nice. Finally, the staff was very attentive and helpful and the concierge was very knowledgable. There only negative I can think of was that the rooms don't have a coffee machine, which seemed odd to me (they offer free coffee in the living room area in the morning which partly makes up for this). But I wouldn't let that dissuade you from staying here.

Great stay at Dewberry
Everyone at the Dewberry was extremely helpful and friendly. It was a great experience - the front desk, concierge, valet staff and housekeeping all did everything they could to make you feel welcomed and to extend any help they could. Highly recommend it

Great weekend stay at The Dewberry
We had the best time at The Dewberry this weekend! When we checked in we were greeted by a very friendly woman and received cold water bottles and a cold towel. We then went to our room. The shower was absolutely gorgeous and had floor to ceiling marble. All of the room details seemed so thoughtful and elegant. The hotel bar called The Living Room is now one of our favorite bars in Charleston! We will definitely be back!
