Not bad
The room is tidy and clean, but sometimes I can hear the noise from the near room.

no frills but adequate for extending your day trip
We booked on line the day before our trip. It was tricky to find and our room was right under the train tracks. The room was clean and met all our basic needs well including cotton yukata for sleeping in. The sundries were well stocked and high quality, the shower and toilet facilities were outdated, inadequately vented, in general musty and moldy. The staff was kind and went out of their way to help us.

Poor room condition but good neighbourhood
The hotel is next to the shopping mall and train station. Somehow, the hotel was old and not well maintained; the toilet bow didn't flush which was very horrible. The hotel staffs only spoke Japanese but tried to understand and help.
