This is a beautiful place to relax and do nothing. I recommend the overwater bungalows, it is fun to go swimming off of your own deck. The water is warm and clear, you can see fish swimming around you. Scuba diving is great, they go from the hotel, takes 5 minutes to get to the dive site. Dinner menu is fabulous!

Relax in paradise!
Everything about the hotel is first class with one exception, the air conditioning was terrible. Maybe in the winter it would not be as much a problem, but we were there during their summer and there were several very hot and humid days where sleeping with air conditioning at a first class hotel seems important. The day was fine without air conditioning as the public areas were open and breezey. But at night, especially with the mosquitos, it would have beeb nice to have good air conditioning. On a cooler day, the air conditioning seemed better which is why I think in the winter it isn not as much an issue. The staff was wonderful, gentle, friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this gorgeous hotel!

Could be Spectacular with some changes
It's definitely a great hotel given the remote location, but when compared with the resort hotels we stayed at on Moorea and Bora Bora, this was a bit of a letdown. The exterior grounds, landscape, pool and spa, and general upkeep are beautiful. The welcome staff was very friendly and helpful. The restaurant was severely under-staffed, and dinner was nearly a 1.5 hour ordeal (we weren't able to order wine for 15 minutes after sitting down). The food was pleasantly good however. The beach-side bungalow we stayed was spacious and well-appointed, but in need of upkeep. The air conditioner was in the bedroom area, but pointed away from the rest of the room and was not able to cool the bungalow properly. The bed spread was old a ragged. There were ants across the bathroom sink and near the refrigerator and ice bucket. The wood deck off the back of the bungalow had a few screws sticking up (we noticed before we could stub our toes) and the light on the stairs was completely falling out with 2 pieces of wood that could be pulled out and tossed aside. Overall the experience was good, but as the title says, this hotel could be spectacular with a bit of work and a few more staff. For the prices you pay to stay here they ought to be able to afford these changes.

Excellent Resort in diver's paradise
Hotel is in an amazing beach of Rangiroa. Only around 5 minutes by bike from the viewpoint on Tiputa pass where one can watch the dolphins. Staff was extremely friendly and efficient. I would definitely consider coming back to Rangiroa and Kia Ora. Avatoru (the main village) is further away, but everything is very close.

Beautiful villa
Beautiful resort with a very friendly staff. We stayed in a villa and absolutely loved it. Highly recommended to stay in a villa with a pool. Also spend one day to go to the blue Lagoon excursion.
