Whistling Windows
This hotel is a renovated factory. They've done a great job keeping the industrial feel without sacrificing comfort. The valets and front desk staff are terrific. I really liked the layout of our king suite. The "L" shape allowed me to hang out in the seating area without disturbing my roommate while she tried to sleep. The bathroom was small but adequate. So, why not 5 stars? Two things. (1) We got no sleep! There was a wedding party at the hotel, and the men in the party were very loud both in the halls and in the parking area until the wee hours of the morning. We could hear them regardless where they moved. To add misery to misery, it was windy, and the wind noise was even louder than the partiers! The wind howled through the windows. We were in a corner room. It's possible that a room not on the corner would have been less loud. But I've the feeling they've gotten this same complaint before because the next morning when I notified the desk staff, they asked if it was a whistling noise coming from the window. Yes. (2) The Soda Bar staff messed up my bill 3 times! Showed them my key, gave them my name and room #, and 3 times the check came back with a different name and room #. On the 4th try the got it right, but then a separate charge that wasn't ours showed up on our final bill. The front desk staff corrected it without any hassle. So, bottom line: the location is super convenient! When they fix the whistling window & train the bar staff, I'll stay here again.

Noise problem
It was loud and I found it hard to sleep. The cement floors, while they look modern, echo every noise. I stayed there for a Thursday and Friday night, both nights were noisy but I was up until after midnight on Friday because of music and noise on my floor.

Nice hotel but not honest about services!
Staff and hotel decor was nice. However the area was quite noisy for during the week and the so called courtesy shuttle to the nearby convention center I had been offered before booking was consistently not available in the morning because of limited staff. The AC was very fussy so the room was warmer at night.

Too dark to work or pack.
I was traveling for business and I worked at night in my room. Not nearly enough light to work comfortably! The lamps in the room were dim. A nice bright desk lamp would be a great addition to these rooms.
