Drunk staff
The hotel is in a great location. No one at the hotel speaks english but I got by with google translate. The room was mostly clean. There was not a bedspread on the bed (only a sheet) so it was a bit cold at night. There was also not a bath mat and it is hard not to get water on the floor. One morning I slipped and fell coming out of the bathroom since the tile is slippery when wet and there was a step down. The worst part of my stay was the morning I was checking out. My flight was early in the morning so I had to check out at 3 AM. When I went to the front desk the front desk clerk was bloody and drunk. I tried to check out but he could not operate the credit card machine. He could barely sit upright on the chair. He kept dropping the credit card machine which then would come unplugged and it would have to reboot. This happened about 7 times. I had to go behind the counter to swipe my credit card but he could not remember the code to log into the credit card machine. I kept telling him to call me a cab but he wouldn't until I paid. I was going to miss my flight since this went one for about 40 minutes. I finally wrote my credit card on a slip of paper so it could be done by a sober person. He finally called me a cab. It was quite stressful.

Good for the price
If you're looking for a nice hotel and want to save money this is a great hotel. The hotel sits in Centro Pereira which makes it for a very busy and more dangerous then normal area but I didn't feel threatened at all. For the price it is very good.
