OK room. Foul smell though.
The hotel was average. It's a great location next to shopping and some good restaurants. Or even just walking around the area. However, the rooms condition was not great. I had a suite that was fine but there was a foul smell, like from pipes or a septic tank. I have smelled it before in some Malaysian apartments (even mine sometimes). But it's just not something you want for an extended stay at a hotel you staying in. Also, the gym appeared to be in a converted hotel suite, with additional rooms inside. The equipment was limited, but fine for a short hotel stay. However, the ceilings were low, and there was an older gentleman who was the gym attendant, who kept watching over us, checking the sign-in logs, telling us not to drop weights, and essentially there just to babysit us. Very awkward and uncomfortable. I finished my workout fast and left. Better to workout at night or when he's not there.

A very well priced, modern hotel with excellent dining options and location close to jetty and shops. The staff were very attentive and friendly, pool area has wonderful sea view - comes highly recommended.

Hotel is central. Friendly staff but some still in training and some service items could be improved. Breakfast fine. Good if you like to do excursions but don’t expect beach holiday

Good location, service could be better
We surely only 1 night at the hotel. It was an affordable option for a short stay. The hotel is located walking distance Jesselton Point and all the markets. Our room was good for the price we paid. However, there was no hot water in the shower and even after asking the staff the issue was not resolved.
