Wonderful Lake Louise location
Some reviews apparently are from rooms not recently renovated, because there were no issues with the accommodations of our large corner room. It was much pricier than the last time we were in the area, but then again so is everything else in the Banff and Jasper National Park region, by a lot!

Unimpressed.
This hotel is centrally located. The bed was super comfy but the room was old and not well kept. There was dirt/dust in several spots, between the beds and on the walls. The bathroom was dingy and just needs updated but it made it seem unclean. The hotel and dining area has an overall camp feeling. The person checking us in was friendly and the breakfast was good. I personally would recommend staying in Banff. It's not that far and has way more dining options.

Very Good8.0
It was fine
This hotel is very basic with basic accommodations. Since the area is used mostly for skiing and hiking, I would assume most travelers are using this place to sleep and shower. It does offer a hot tub and sauna which seemed nice although I didn't use them. It's insanely overpriced for the type of offerings it has but I think that is solely based on location. Breakfast is super basic, wifi was spotty and cleaning staff didn't turn over rooms in an order that made sense (we came back at 130PM and saw them cleaning empty rooms yet hadn't touched ours yet)

Keep driving past this place
To call this a resort is to insult all resorts. It's a glorified truck stop with rooms to rent. There is a pub where you have to cook your own food, a cafeteria , and a restaurant with edible food. Our room was claustrophobic with a bathroom that had not been remodeled since the 1950s. There is no cell phone service, they charge for very slow wifi (Their words; we didn't partake), and the television selection is minimal. There is nothing else in the area but the gas station. It literally is a crossroads. We couldn't get away from here fast enough. Drive the extra miles and go to Jasper,

Overpriced.
Definitely overpriced for this old facility that needs a serious renovation. Obviously have a premier location or they would not fill their rooms. I would not have paid over $80 US dollars for this property in the US.
