Must stay hotel when you are in Hull.
We were pleased by the room as it came with kitchen and big bath room. My kids really enjoyed it.

Appperance vs quality - you decide.
The good:genial hosts and a riverside location good for the river area. The bad: Room 3 - soiled toilet seat which had to be cleaned before use, a duvet with a huge and old coffee stain, a dirty shower cubicle and a shower head so grossed up with mould it was blue and could not be used at all, a fly floating in the orange juice at breakfast and scrambled eggs which were spattered with burnt black chippings from the pan. The unfortunate: despite the hosts' geniality and the quality of the furnishing generally, I really felt that this was a hobby for them and that appearances counted for more than basic standards of hygiene. My own opinion is that they were out of their depth which is unfortunate for such a beautiful house and setting. I believed that raising any of these several problems would have been a complete waste of time since I was sure it would have either gone over their heads completely or been seen as carping; why bother? We were exhausted after a very busy day - not worth the hassle. Get out and stay somewhere else. For me its a case of nice people in the wrong business.

Very basic right next to main road.
Was o.k for the price paid.Wouldn't class as upmarket more The avaerage b&b for the Hull area. Only two sets of towels left for three ppl. Needed cobwebs dusting. Basic handwash available no other shower/bath products apart from shower caps? Was woken up by other guest walking about in the room above at six am. Last available room that night so better than staying in the car.
