The Crown, Maidenhead
Dont do breakfast
The Crown was a really nice place which appeared to have recently been updated. The annex where the rooms are located where of a good standard with modern decor. The only downside and this was a BIG let down for me was the breakfast. They only do continental breakfast which consisted of a croissant and an apple. For future booker's DON'T pay for the breakfast, not worth the extra money!!!!

Unfortunately Average
Love the location and have had members of my team stay before with glowing recommendations. Unfortunately felt like there was one poor lady running the show with little support. May have just been a staffing issue the evening I stayed. Breakfast was a let down with a croissant and apple cling filmed to a plate and left in the room. Price was low, but would prefer to pay a little more and improve service. The lady running the show was doing her best but felt she needed more support.

Lovely decor and location improvements needed
The room was lovely and perfectly furnished. However, it was not particularly well cleaned. There was somebody else’s dirty sock in the corner (see photos) as well as a piece of paper on the floor. The breakfast was quite disappointing, as we only received a bag with two croissants, bananas and a yogurt bar delivered to our room the evening before and not a full English breakfast as promised. Additionally, the mattress was very uncomfortable, as the springs kept scratching. Room furnishing as mentioned was very nice though and the location on the edge of The Moor is lovely so with a few improvements this can be an excellent place to stay!

Very Good8.0
Nice room, comfortable & quiet. There was an unpleasant smell in the room when we checked it & the carpet was a bit dirty but overall it was fine. Staff very nice & breakfast was good.

Anniversary treat.
When we arrived shown into a room, curtains hanging off,No towels,Room had not been cleaned for days. Overall very shabby, given another room which also had it's faults,no hangers[they get nicked] and only one half roll of toilet paper, and bedside light didn't work.
