May Vacation away from Boston Cold
The hotel is actually very good for the amount of money you pay. We opted to go with the rate to include breakfast and my only opinion about that is they should mix it up a bit more. They pretty much have the same thing daily. But again, for the money you really can't complain.

Great location great hotel
This hotel is about three blocks from the beach and reasonable. Although the room was small, it was very clean with a comfortable bed. The housekeeping was very good in providing towels,soap,etc. and the staff was very friendly and helpful, and addressed all my concerns. There is a buffet was which was quite good(the pork loin was well seasoned , tender and tasty) and at a reasonable price. Nearby the main street has just about everything one needs with a vast amount of stores, supermarkets and restaurants Overall I was very satisfied and hope to return to Rio and this hotel again.

Extremely well located, close to the beach and a metro station. The area felt safe, even at night, with plenty of dining options around. The rooms are on the small side, the bed was particularly small and it felt cramped for 2 people, but it's a solid choice if you're going to be out and about and just need a place to sleep.

Basic and lack of service
The hotel was not appropriately staffed to accommodate guests. I waited in line for 1.5 hour to check in, only to be told my room wasn't ready yet. I was surprised too that the staff spoke very little English. The room was basic, but mostly clean. The breakfast was a disaster with no available seating and most of the food was empty. It was really messy. I think it comes down to lack of staffing. Overall a basic stay in Copacabana.
