10/10 Exceptional

I will stay again
Friendly staff, nice bed, great location. Having Wi-Fi and TV was very nice. This is the perfect place to start and end a few days of adventures up Mt Ranier. The only inconvenience is lack of stores nearby. You’ll need to show up stocked on your own or drive to Ashford for very basic goods.

2/10 Poor

poor accomodation
Very old, uneven floors (falling hazard), air conditioning in one of two rooms, noisy (very close to road), no service available at night. Only two positives, inexpensive and located at entrance to Mr. Ranier National Park

A little odd
The cabin was nice, and clean, but not ready when we arrived. That was not a big problem, but there was no coffee in the room or espresso at the office as I had understood. It was a little odd. There was a wine cooler instead of a refrigerator, and that was parked in front of the wall heater. We could have asked about the coffee but got back after the office was closed.

2/10 Poor

Contaminated water and no attempt to plan for it
Horrible experience, showing that the management just doesn't care whatsoever, and is actively malicious. I checked in around 9pm (there is nobody around after 7), to find a note in my room informing me that there is e-coli in the water as of a couple of days ago, so no drinking water or brushing teeth, or anything -- basically think no running water, because it literally has pieces of poop in it. The management left two tiny 200-ml bottles from Costco for two people. They also called three times earlier in the day, and sent a voicemail on how to check in late, but not once had they mentioned this issue. Of course by 9pm nobody was there, I left a voicemail, that was never returned. Also, no store in the town is opened that late, so you'd need to drive an hour each way for water. The management clearly concealed the information not to have people cancel, and then didn't even have the decency to leave, say, a gallon jug of water that would cost them a dollar. It's unbelievable, and I'll be looking to get my money back from my credit card company, as it's basically fraud.

2/10 Poor

I had reserved two deluxe cabins which I had stayed in 2 years ago. However when I checked in, one was not deluxe but rather a lower grade. When we entered the cabin there was no electricity and the cabin itself was very dirty- spider webs in closet, mold in refrigerator, broken bed etc. when we brought the concerns to the person checking us in he said that we reserve through a third-party and unfortunately it did not indicate they were no longer to deluxe cabins available. However, he charged us for two deluxe cabins. Nonetheless, my partner, and I decided to drive back to Seattle rather than stay in these unacceptable conditions. We were able to get a complete refund after contacting Expedia and raining the complaint.

2/10 Poor

Dirtiest place I’ve ever stayed
The first day we got there there was no Wi-Fi connection which is understandable sometimes when you’re in the woods however it was because the owner hadn’t paid the bill not because there was just spotty signal. There was hair all over the shower. At least 7 random strands. Then we took off the top sheet and the bed also had hair all over it. The fridge hadn’t been cleaned out and there was red juice all over it. There were cup stains on all the surfaces so it was clear it hadn’t been wiped down. Absolutely disgusting experience all around.
