Clean cabin next to entrance of Mt. Rainier NP
The log cabin was a separate cabin so we had lots of privacy. It was quite rustic with fireplace and very clean, and had everything we needed. It had everything we needed and loved the location, right next to the entrance of Mt. Rainier National Park. The beds were foam top, and not much room to get in and out of the beds between the walls and fireplace, and had to crawl out the foot of the bed.

Strange Place, Great Location
The trip was great overall. The staff was nice and laidback, with the quickest check-in/out I have ever seen. The room was... interesting. We were in a suite over the office. One (loud) ac for 2 bedrooms. When it wasn't running we got a good deal of noise from the other rooms and the road. They have clearly updated the space from whatever it used to be, using whatever materials were inexpensive at the time. Left the room feeling, haphazard and a bit funky. For example, the bathroom walls/ceiling had 5 different finishes, including peeling wallpaper. We are open to trying this place again, because the location is excellent, but would rather stay in one of the little cabins.

Nice location/Very Outdated Rooms
The staff was friendly, but the rooms were very outdated and I am not an overly picky person. Carpets inside the room and in the hallway looked like they were from early 1980's. AC was out, and the room in general was very worn and dingy. Good location if you want the convenience for being right outside the gate of Mount Rainier, but the hotel in general needs some updating. Based on the pictures of the hotel I also thought we were staying in a rustic cabin, instead we were put in the 2nd floor of the convenience store below.
