Wander through America's oldest public park, Boston Common, where colonial history lurks beneath every footpath. The Freedom Trail connects 16 revolutionary sites with a simple red line - history made foolproof. Fenway Park remains gloriously unchanged, a baseball cathedral where fans worship the Green Monster wall with religious fervor. At Quincy Market, sample clam chowder while street performers work for your spare change. The North End's narrow streets hide Italian bakeries where cannoli wars have raged for generations. Harvard students cross the river to visit actual students, while the Museum of Fine Arts houses treasures that would make European museums jealous. Duck Tours convert ordinary buses into amphibious vehicles, allowing guides to make terrible water puns.

The Revolution Hotel

8/10 Good
"Pros: Proximity to everything. Easy walking distance to all activities and attractions to Boston's parks, waterfronts, museums, and excellent diverse restaurants. Great public parking facilities nearby. Truly a pet friendly hotel. We will certainly re-book this hotel again. Cons: Vehicular street noise was noticeable."

"The hotel is historic & period design is mindful of old European hotels. Location is excellent for tourists interested in visiting the historic sites & many good choices for dining nearby. Staff very attentive to our needs. The bars & lounge were comfortable & had several good appetizers. Only complaint was the size of our bathroom, which was tight. An extra large person would have issues with shower & water closet. We had a small corner room that also was a slight inconvenience."

8/10 Good
"Teeny tiny room, but very cute & very cool the way it looked over the city. If you are traveling with someone else that you don’t want to be right on top of, get your own room. The price point makes it affordable for the city & space in the room is very limited. The iPad controls were super cool, loved the dimming lights & blackout curtains & mood lighting. Biggest beef was that the air conditioning was really weak, I set it as low as it would go & it didn’t really cool off at night the way I like it to sleep. Also, no top sheet on the bed, so it was a thick down comforter or nothing at all. Also, the outlets were kinda far from the bed, so I recommend if you stay here to bring an extra long charging cord & travel fan. A coffee maker woulda been awesome, I travel with a mini Keurig, so I was fine. Otherwise, everything was outstanding. Great location, super walkable & very close to the airport. Don’t call a rideshare, have the front desk call you a taxi! They come instantly & substantially cheaper than Uber or Lyft. The staff is incredibly kind & helpful. The hotel itself is beautiful & unique. So many places to take cute photos with your friends. Wish we would’ve booked 2 days in Boston so we could’ve seen more. Would definitely return & stay again when better prepared."
