Hotel Isla del Encanto, Baru Island
Outstanding5.0 / 5
Our family was enchanted with Isla del Encanto
This place was wonderful! Because it is a smaller resort, it felt really intimate and my kids were right at home. The resort does allow day trips and so, between 10:30 and 3:00pm, the place can get a bit busy. However, the resort does set aside eating and relaxing areas for the overnight guests, which is appreciated. The cocktails and juices were really tasty, if a bit expensive. The resort should publish the prices, and perhaps think about providing a few free refreshments each day for guests. The food was very good however. The staff was really wonderful. Carlos and Molina made extra efforts to make us and our kids feel really welcome. It is true that the boatride there and back is long (and you might get wet if it is a windy day - so wear clothes that can tolerate a spray and put your wallet and electronic devices in plastic) I would go back in a heartbeat!
