You get what you pay for?
Room was so damp and musty smelling. The sheets actually felt damp. Towels had brown stains on them. We used articles of clothing to dry with. The room was so hot upon entering. We had 3 people in our party but there was only a tiny foil pack of shampoo for the 3 of us to share. No soap. Really the only good thing was the staff were friendly and we only had one night reserved.

Satisfied customer
Heading to Tx Med Center from central Fl and found this to be a good stopping point. Very friendly polite owner, easy parking, Ruby Tuesday across the street and other eating places close by. Contractor and owner were working on the lobby and stopped work apologizing for the mess. Needs some work but price was right and I will stop here again.

Great room except for HUMIDITY!
Easy to find in an area with other hotels, a Ruby Tuesday, Super Walmart/Murphy gas and a Cracker barrel are close. but there are no sidewalks. Parking was easy. The desk clerk was great, friendly and very knowledgeable, really a great guy. The Lobby was more like a wide hall set up with tables and chairs, but no breakfast provided. Off Lobby the check in area was unlocked, but also had a window for nights with a bell. The lobby, halls and room #112 were new looking and very clean, bed was comfortable, but could here the crinkling of a plastic mattress cover under the sheets. WiFi worked well on a smart phone. New wood flooring, shower, fixtures, room overall looked great. mini Refrigerator and freezer, microwave, TV, no hairdryer There was one switch that turned on a 4 foot fluorescent light that was a startling in an otherwise very nice room, but in the morning it was great to find everything to get packed. The only major problem was the HUMIDITY, the A/C unit was quiet, and kept the temperature as set, but did not remove a drop of the very high humidity from the air. Medications set out softened and fell apart overnight because of the moisture. I noticed that the hallway doors were propped open and it was hot humid weather outside and in the hall. I don’t know if the humidity problem was due to this or this was an attempt to correct.. A very nice room was not so nice with the humidity problem, and if a Floridian complains about humidity, you know there is a problem.

Good choice
Stayed here 3 days as we visited Louisiana. Check in was uneventful. The rooms smell clean as soon as you walk in. They were attentive to room needs. Ice machine was broken and they went and bought ice. The beds are a little on the hard side. The towels were questionable as they smelled clean but had obvious stains. The shower water was a weird experience for us. No matter how much soap we used, the water had this slick feel to it. I thought it was our soap but I went on to Mexico from there and didn’t experience the same issue with the soap or water. Decently priced and the better of the two hotels we stayed in LA (Days Inn was the other and it was awful). Great location as there are many businesses nearby including restaurants, movies, and Walmart. Aside from the weird water thing I would consider staying again.
