Old and tired but a great location
This hotel is very old and tired but it is in a great location - a block from the Cluny Museum and 3 different Metro stations. The clerks were helpful for the most part. The lift is very slow and small only holding 3 people with no luggage or 1 at a time with luggage. The room was extremely small with no dressers or drawers to put your clothes. We were there 8 days and lived out of our suitcases the whole time. The closet was cornered and was 18' across the front. The safe was on the floor and very inconvenient to get to. The toilet was separated from the rest of the bathroom which was a huge plus as the bathroom was very cramped. The shower was 20' deep and if you were tilting your head back to rinse, you would hit your head on the door. We asked the front desk for plastic cups and tissues but never recdeived them. Also, we never got additional soap and ran out before we left. I would only stay at this hotel again if I could get onew of the deluxe suites which are much larger.

I had directions from the Odeon Tube station- we walked right past it- Not real obvious on the tiny street, and it was our first time in Paris. However, Once we arrived, I loved the old fashioned elevator, and good to have AC. It got warm, 79 our last day. Also, didn't know we got a nice little continental b-fast next door at the bistro. That was a good surprise. Trying to sq up night before, the crdit card machine was broken- then wanted me to go to an ATM for cash Euros. I said NO, I won't- this is a place of business, your office equipment needs to work. I got the nice desk guy to agree to let me sign my paper w/ my card info, dated it, he signed too- i took a pic and we said OK. He was trying to fix, w/ no success. Overall good hotel- Great location.

Best hidden jewel!
My son and I absolutely enjoyed our stay! We have been to Europe before so we knew what to expect regarding the size of the room which are very small. Room was small but bed was very comfortable, clean and had a/c which really helped during our hot stay in Paris! The only thing that we noticed was the carpet which it felt very sticky, my guess is just way too old so we just didn’t walk barefoot. The location couldn’t be any better! We went straight from CDG airport to the St. Michel/Notre Dame station and got out on Cluny Sorbonne which is only a block 1/2 from the hotel. There are also a nice convenience store around the corner plus several restaurants, cafes, etc. The personnel was very pleasant and helpful too. We’ll definitely stay there again.

First night in Paris, woohoo!
I only stayed here for one night but it was such a great location I wished I had more time. Right on Boulevard Saint-Germain and in the Latin Quarter. There's a university around the corner, so lots of young people and everything that comes along: fun bars, restaurants, some noise. Also a bus stop right around the corner and a metro stop. The rooms themselves are a bit dated and very small, but this is Paris so no surprise there. Each time you leave the hotel you have to leave your key with the front desk, which I thought was pretty strange. Not sure if this is customary for the area? But the staff was always pleasant. They let me keep my bag behind the desk for a while in the morning. Be aware that the language barrier exists and come prepared with your Google Translate :)

Wonderful Hotel!
We really loved this hotel! They let us check in almost 3 hours early which we were very grateful for. The room was very charming and clean. We had a Juliet style balcony with a nice view of Paris from the 4th floor. The hotel is in the perfect location if you want to see Notre Dame which is very close and only a few minutes walk. We didn't have the breakfast so can't comment on that. There's a Starbucks 2 blocks away and tons of bakeries and cafe's in the area. The staff at the hotel were very nice and friendly. They offer a shuttle to the airport for 18 euros per person which is a very reasonable price. The checkout is noon but they held our bags all day for free. Overall we had a wonderful stay and when we are in Paris again we will definitely stay here!!
