Felt ripped off !
My first ever bad hotel review in 34 years of travel Please book elsewhere. Yes the location is great but that’s all It’s not 3 star at all lucky to be 1 once you get past the foyer . We paid over $300 a night to stay here and for the first time I feel ripped off ! The Room is so small for two people bed is wall to wall so you wake each other up all the time to get out of bed . You can’t walk past each other in the room . They give you a luggage rack but the suitcase blocks of access to the front door , bathroom and hallway. It’s advertised as 11m2 but I think this includes a balcony which you can’t access at all . The bathroom smelt terrible so we left the exhaust fan on for 3 days . The windows were really dirty on the outside guess the staff can’t access the balcony to clean ? The pillows were a JOKE about an inch thick they looked like outdoor chair cushions put in a pillow slip we asked for more but were told we could only have 2 more . The room was small and stuffy so we would put the Aircon on but couldn’t get the cool cycle to work. Were told that it’s a heater only and to open the window . The window only opens inwards so it then hangs over the bed squeezed into the corner so two people can’t sleep on the bed as the windows in the way. We spent 3 days in wrinkled clothes as the Hotel doesn’t provide an iron or ironing board and we were told they have a laundry service but it’s the weekend so it will take 3 days . Hot food at brekky all cold and fruit salad from tin

APA Shinsaibashi Great if you know what to expect
I had a two twin bed room. The room is small compared to American standards. There was only 6 inches of separation between the beds, and only the hall from the door to the far wall was the only free space to walk. But understanding that, given the price and the location of this hotel, it was a good value. The place was clean, the service was not exceptional, but satisfactory. Like if you just need a hotel in Osaka within a 4 minute walk from Glico Neon Sign Man, and you just want a clean bedroom with a clean bathroom that is relatively cheap, this is a good place. If you want space or amenities, don't bother with this hotel.

Japanese Height Standard Recommended
Maybe I should start by saying that I am 5'10" (178cm). It's a tiny room. The bed was flushed against the walls leaving only the length of the bed free. The space between the bed and desk was nonexistent. It had the tiniest shower. The location was ideal though. Close to trains and Nightlife. Try the butaman and okonomiyaki. Coin laundry was efficient.
