There is only one reason to stay at this hotel: you want a pool. Other than that, you want to be in a much more vibrant area, in a nicer hotel. If you need a kitchen, get an airbnb near the Pantheon and thank me later. We've been to Rome many times but chose this hotel because we knew our kids would be hot and crabby after busy mornings and would enjoy a pool. Except this pool is overseen by the Pool Nazi. But if you're an adult, are virtually silent and like a frigid pool, this is the pool for you. The location is grim; the joy of Rome is popping around the corner for a cappuccino, espresso, pizza, etc. There is NOTHING here. We are city people and walk 8-10 miles daily but the walk back into town is miserable. Unpaved sidewalks, cars flying by, we grew to dread it. Breakfast is totally fine and front desk staff is very nice. One of our three rooms was pretty awful, but the other two rooms were charming in an old Italian pensione kind of way. Tired, but very Italian. We knew much of this going in, but in hindsight, I should have just booked a charming Airbnb in town and let my kids watch iPads when they were beat.

    Great memories
This our 2nd time in this Hotel and we could not be happier. They had upgraded our stay to a suite and the service and breakfast were great. The location is great, close to Borghese gallery and park, 4 stops on the tram to Piazza del Popollo. Thank you, will be back.

Wonderful staff in a very nice hotel
We stayed for a week in November. The staff were very helpful and accommodating. The residences had a separate living room and kitchen area which made for a nice stay. The daily breakfast was very good with a wide selection and great service.

Loved the surroundings, easy walk to dinner, far enough away to be quiet and close enough to everything. BED was very hard, and pillows way to huge to sleep.

It Felt Like Home Away From Home.
We absolutely loved our stay! The front desk staff spoke English, and they were very friendly and helpful. It's a safe, nice neighborhood that's conveniently located but not in the middle of the hectic, touristy areas. You can walk about 15 minutes to the nearest metro, or you can catch the tram almost directly in front of the hotel. There are a few good restaurants and a little grocery store about 15 minutes away. The room was spacious, and there was a lot of storage/closet room. The little kitchenette was fully stocked with pots, pans, dishes and things we didn't use, but were great to have if we did want to cook. There was even a complementary bottle of wine waiting for us when we arrived. The bed and pillows were comfortable, and we slept well. The free, buffet breakfast started at 7:30 and lasted until either 10 or 10:30. Wi-Fi is also free and worked great in our rooms. You just have to request a new password daily. The street out front is busy and a bit noisy, but after long days exploring, it was easy to fall alseep. I'm so thankful this hotel was just right for us and fit our needs perfectly. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for safety and comfort.
