Amazing staff,super helpful and very welcoming Makes you feels like home

A five star hotel with the appeal of a four star hotel. Beach not close. Rather, it was a hike away. Soap scum or hard water on marbled surfaces in bathroom. Shower leaked into toilet area. Room decor dated. The staff, however, bend backwards to please. And breakfast offers an international selection. The television selection was dismal and of the poorest quality I have ever come across.

Absolutely beautiful hotel and amazing staff! Everyone was so friendly and welcoming! They went above and beyond to provide us with a peaceful luxury experience! They even remembered my birthday and surprised me with a birthday cake in my room! Phenomenal place will strongly recommend staying here! Also it’s not far away if you want to go to Patong Beach or bangla rd, also they have free shuttles! For me it was perfect, peace/ relaxation and if I wanted to go out it was not far away! Stay here you won’t regret it!

Avista's lobby is very beautiful and has a great view. The check in process was not bad at all. They were even able to give us our room even when arriving a couple of hours early before check in. One thing I would note about this place is that it is some what secluded. You have to go down the hill to even go to a corner store. This is more of a honeymoon kind of hotel. The next day is when we started to have problems. The Air condition was not working well in our room. We had to notify them multiple times to get it fixed. Also, there was only one place to eat their if your a vegetarian or vegan. Other than that, you have to leave the hotel to eat. The service at the restaurant wasn't all that great either. Service was slow, even when we were the only ones there. If I visit Thailand again, I would stay at a different place.

The hotel is located on the hill about 2kms from center of patong, away from all the crowd. The hotel provides free shuttle every couple hours to patong and back if needed to go to patong center. Inside the resort, it's paradise. All the luxury needed, be it the bars, pools, game room, restaurants are available to be used and all the maintained well and run efficiently. The roof top seafood restaurant has some amazing food and views. Highly recommend this resort if looking for a luxurious stay in patong!
