Charming villa near Ronda
This is a lovely villa about 10 minutes from Ronda. Our room was decorated in a minimalist, but comfortable style. Bathroom was large and nice. Pool was beautiful, right on the side of the ravine under the hotel, and perfect for the small number of guests at the villa. Innkeeper Sophie, who just took over the property recently, was extremely pleasant and helpful. I just have two quibbles... first, there is no air conditioning, so I was hot at night in early September. Second, we had to keep the windows open because of the lack of air, and the breakfast tables are on the balcony immediately outside our window... so while we were still undressed in bed in the morning, there were other guests right outside our open window, and the shade didn’t come down all the way to maintain privacy. Still, we thought it was very charming and comfortable overall.

Wat viel dit tegen!
Behalve dat het ons anderhalf uur gekost heeft om de locatie te vinden (zelfs mensen in de buurt kenden het niet) viel het binnen komen erg tegen. Het was er vreselijk koud! Op onze vraag of er een kachel was kwam een heel klein verwarminkje onder de tafel te voorschijn. Ook was er een open haard..jammergenoeg geen hout en ondanks de belofte dat de eigenaar het zou komen brengen..hebben wij het niet gehad.Ook de hygiene van het pand liet te wensen over! Op de foto lijkt het zwembad erg mooi..nou niet dus. Het leek of er al jaren niets aan gedaan was en ook de omgeving kan wel een opruimbeurt gebruiken.Toen wij na een paar nachten weg wilden gaan was er niemand en hebben wij een spaanse buurman moeten laten bellen en uiteindelijk kwam toen de tante vd eigenaar afrekenen. jammergenoeg had zij geen wisselgeld dus waren we nog verplicht om een 'fooi'' te geven...dus conclusie: hier NIET naar toe gaan!
