    Another Nook

It was good. The chef wasn't there for dinner so we had to get dinner at a restaurant down the road. Service at the restaurant was terrible and the food wasn't that hot. But the hotel was good. Another gem in the nook and cranny.

Convenient location. Property is clean. Staff response to issues and concerns are really slow, quite inefficient in that regards. I would rate my stay here as border line average.

From Check-in with Annette, through the housekeeping and restaurant staff, the Hotel Tim Bamboo is one of the most friendliest and professional hotels that I have visited in Jamaica. The location is very convenient to town, but it doesn't offer great room views.

We had a wonderful 9 days here. From the check in with Nadia to the ladies who cleaned the room, our service was excellent. Every time we asked for something the staff always accommodated us. At times the water pressure was low, but that’s not the hotels fault, it’s the aging island infrastructure. The hotel was very clean, no bugs even in the heat. The only thing that was a bit deficient was the internet, so we really didn’t use it. All else was great and we will stay here again

Tim Bamboo had NO RUNNING WATER to take a shower on my travel day. After notifying the front desk attendant, he brought me water from an unknown source in a dirty used orange juice container for my use. The television was broken and kept going in and out without any sound.

    Mixed Review

First I was really thrilled about its location out of the town, but the location was not that enticing. There is a garbage dump exactly next door to the hotel which is very unattractive. Then the parking lot for guests is located across the road which is very small and seems to get jammed with vehicles to the point of blocking others. There was no hot water in the facet in the bathroom, but it was in the shower. After complaining to the front desk, they offered to move me to another room upstairs which they said had hot water in the facet. It beats me to understand why hot water would be upstairs and not on the ground floor. The breakfast experience was also unpleasant because the servers were quite unpleasant and seemed like they didn't want to be bothered with offering quality service. This place really needs to improve on it service.
