Graduation Weekend
My wife & I traveled from Upstate N.Y. to attend my nephews graduation from W.P.I.. The hotel was only a short drive to the college & local restaurants. We enjoyed our stay & recommend the hotel for future guests.

How many more things can break/not work?
Accommodating desk people and manager although pretty much every thing that could go wrong-did. Specifically booked way ahead of trip due to diet needs for a kitchenette room (with fridge, microwave and cooktop)-when I got there a young girl at the desk said I didn't get one "because I booked online and they were full." ARE you kidding? Next day: Gal at desk asked if I could deal with a room with no A/C. Sure, I said. It is April and not hot yet. I moved all my gear upstairs and here's a list of things with THIS room: heat was on 24/7-even manager could not figure out how to turn it off-it was about 90 degrees in the room. Shower curtain rod was dangling off wall I couldn't close the curtain. Slow drain in bathroom sink. As a tea drinker I run only hot water thru coffee pot and it had medium sized beige bits in the water! Disgusting. BOTH tv remotes did not work on the 2 tv's in the suite room. Manager came up at 9pm and cut the cable and fixed it tho. Housekeeping did not clean floor or bed or bathroom. My same long hair was left on floor plus a lemon seed I dropped the night before as well as getting shorted on towels despite only leaving her one to replace! One added ditty? there was a mysterious door that had a light switch which turned on a light behind it. It was locked. It had a small hole and faced the bed. Why did they not fix this odd hole in the door?

Improvements needed
Overall I liked the stay, but I believe that was largely in part because of a concert I was seeing. The staff was friendly and would do anything they could to help, but there were some things that made the stay less comfortable. The shower was right at luke warm, and it never got hot; and the bedding was not exactly clean. Once again I liked my stay overall, there just needs to be improvements made in order for me to stay again.

This place should be closed and remodeled.
I stayed here because of the proximity to a class nearby. The front desk closed early and did not open when it was supposed to. You had to go to the Quality Inn at the front of the property. The room had a strange odor. There was a huge hole in the wall where a light switch was located. The only reason I stayed in the room was that the smell was in the living room, there was a door to close and the bed linen was clean. The gentleman that checked me in was quite friendly and helpful. the woman who checked me out was rude. When I told her about the smell and the hole in the wall she stated 'Well, did you report it?" I told her I did not especially since there was no front desk staff on duty and I was not walking back to the Quality Inn a second time. This Hotel is owned by Quality Inn - Shame on you.
