Hotel Christina, Bucharest
Bad location if walking, not driving in Bucharest
Difficult location because off the streets and had to walk in dark streets at night. Hotel’s map was too small to read and directions were not good. Poor English. I had to get police help

Wow!!! What wonderful place to stay. Like you, I searched every hotel in Bucharest and decided on Hotel Christina. Where do you begin to talk about perfection. The welcome cheese plate was delicious. The staff are kind and courteous. The bed and bedding were so comfortable that I laid down just to reset after the day and woke up at 6:30am. This place is immaculate. However I found two problems. They have a very lovely scale in the bathroom. The problem it showed me I gained 0.5kg from eating all the delicious Romanian food. Secondly, I had to leave. Thank you for a great stay.

Will stay there again if I return to Bucharest
Very good hotel, super nice staff, great location. My husband and I got there by taking bus 783 from the airport to Piata Romana, and then walking for 5 minutes. This was at 2am, and with the streets being empty and me being from South America, I didn't feel *super* safe, but there was really nothing to worry about (I'm actually told Romania is very safe). The hotel is in a quiet street and check in took less than 2 minutes. Their breakfast is delicious and they also have a menu for lunch/dinner. We ordered dinner once but I think they made our food from scratch, so it took a while. The other reviewers didn't lie, their beds are very comfy. The tv had plenty of channels in English, which is something I don't see often during my travels through Europe. We also got to meet the hotel owner, who was happy to chat about his country and was very proud of his hotel -- as he should be. Hotel Christina is not luxurious, but it's comfortable, well kept, and the staff does a great job in keeping visitors happy. I'll definitely stay there again if I return to Bucharest.
