Great quirky hotel
The Royal Hotel in Bath is a great little hotel across the road from the station, just minutes from the Roman Baths and everything you need to see in Bath. The staff are fabulous, especially Tim at the front desk who is a delight and all of the staff in the bar and restaurant. Our corner room on the 3rd floor was spacious and very comfortable. The bathroom is large and well appointed. The hotel was built in 1846! And even though it is quite old, it is very comfortable. The tiny lift will get you and your bags upstairs if needed but there is also a spiral staircase.
