This was our second stay at the Box House. The staff is very accomodating and the hotel is modern, clean and quiet. Since our daughter lives about a mile from the Box House, the availability of the free hotel cab a definite plus.

Operations Engineer
Wow, the staff in general are great! The Bartenders Staffing: Tetva, Nikia, Dave... excellent! Made me want to visit and stay there again and again.

Second fabulous visit to Box House
Absolutely fabulous. The door man and front desk staff were friendly. The car service to the nearest train was needed, traveling with 2 kids, and Felix, Christian, and Singh were always so courteous with helping the kids in and out of the car, packing our stroller, recommending the best bagel place or train to catch. The rooms are extremely comfortable, the kitchenette was invaluable for lazy morning breakfasts and late-night snacks. (Though we did ask for a spatula and never got one...the kitchenette is mostly well stocked) Our first-floor room didn't have a view, but the blinds worked very well to keep the streetlights out. This was our second visit to Box House Hotel, and we'll certainly return!

Great spot, but issues with our room
Great spot and new digs, but there were some issues. There's really no sound-proofing between the standard rooms in the new section of the hotel - you can clearly hear other conversations and movement from other guests. Two nights in a row we had issues sleeping because our upstairs neighbors were moving around at 4:30 AM and we heard every footstep echo through our room. We had to turn on the bathroom fan to create some background noise. The neighborhood was great, and we had an excellent experience with the front desk service for the most part. Standard rooms are fairly small but have a good layout. \
