Really a 3 star hotel...
This was our first trip to NOLA (we were celebrating our 5th anniversary) and we wanted to stay somewhere nice. Based on the description of the hotel, we were anticipating it being comparable to other similarly rated hotels. We were wrong. The hotel is dated, as are the rooms. There is constant noise from the street as well as from the heater/cooler, and the walls are very thin (you can hear everything). We made the management aware of certain items of concern upon check out and during our stay, but there was no sense of urgency or effort to rectify the issues. We likely will not visit NOLA again, but if we ever do, we will not be staying at the Saint.

Great stay but needs work
Great place to stay. Walking distance from everything. The customer service was amazing. Our only critique would be to get better beds. The mattress was hard and uncomfortable. My husband and I both had very bad back pain the next morning. After one night of our four night stay we just wanted to be back in our on comfortable bed.

I paid extra to secure a King Bed. When I arrived they change the narrative and said "Bed selection is optional". I don't usually complaint so I will simply never come back and I won't recommend this hotel ever.

Terribly Rude front desk
Dealing with the front desk at The Saint hotel was an absolute nightmare! First of all, it is difficult to get a hold of anyone and they are completely unhelpful when you do. The person who checked my friend and I in to our room completely messed up and charged the entire stay to me. After over a month and many many phone calls, I was finally reimbursed by the hotel who overcharged me $412. Again, instead of properly reimbursing me, they reimbursed my friend's canceled credit card. After many phone calls with our banks, I was finally reimbursed. But that's not after Mandy at the front desk was incredibly rude and even hung up on my friend! What kind of service is that???
