Peace in Marrakesh
Located just outside of the medina, it was an oasis from the hub bub of the shopping area. Has an excellent rooftop terrace which was great for drinks and wonderful view. Hotel was comfortable and a great value.

First Class Service / Conveniently Located
My wife and I were visiting Morocco for the first time and while in Marrakech, we wanted to stay somewhere nice. After reading many of the reviews we decided to go with the Pearl Marrakech. The Pearl Marrakech is conveniently located right near the entrance to the Medina (City) and near the section of city comparable to South Beach Miami. Ironically, the Pearl Marrakech property was previously "The Delano" hotel. From the moment we stepped out of our car, we were treated like royalty. We were ushered into the lobby to sit and enjoy a refreshment while we were being checked in was a nice touch. After a long flight from New York, the last thing I felt like doing was stand on another line to check in. Many of the staff took an interest in learning your name and remembering your room number. I can't say enough of how much the entire staff strives to deliver first class service. I would ignore any of the negative reviews as they may have gotten their act together as I would definitely return again. Helpful hint: since taxis don't use meters, you must negotiate the fare before you get in the car. Have the doormen negotiate the fare to your destination and if required, your return with the same driver.

48 years after, comfort, great taste, in Marrakech
Chose hotel for it's recommendations, design!!, location close enough to access to the Medina, while a long walk, in a comforting, if on my visit only noticed, deluxe/residential enclave/district (Hivernage) single traveler, female. Reception & service lovely, if a bit pompous, overdone as it relates to practicality. Still in need of speed, practicality, i.e. breakfast svc.. Also, no breakfast price posted anywhere; misunderstanding of what was incld. in room price by onsite service person. Bar/knowledge of avl. wines/ drinks & delivery dependent on one bartender. Replacements during off hours not in the loop. Also difference in price for he same gl. of wine in lobby bar and at roof bar. Concierge-a bit too rushed for a quiet hotel; door/porter service very eager and helpful. Rooftop bar and restaurant service languid by American standards, if kind. Certain service preparedness issues just improvised, it seemed. Lovely Italian restaurant, owned, next to the lobby, outside, as beautifully decorated as the hotel, very good food, gave gracious svc.. Reopened Arab restaurant, lovely in space, on a trial mission after Ramadan, the waitress charged for a glass of tap water to swallow a pill. In essence, especially in it's design & service intent a beautiful hotel."Yes", happy to stay there again. A basically happy, but experienced trvlr whose eyes nothing escapes. But good will everywhere.

Great Hotel. Fun rooftop Pool Convenient location!
Great Hotel. Convenient location. The roof top pool is small but fun. The DJ playing made it a fun atmosphere. Had an excellent view from our room of the Koutoubia Mosque. Sunset and sunrise was quite spectacular. Room was large, clean and comfortable. Hotel lobby was beautiful. The only puzzling thing about this hotel is the indoor pool on the basement. it was really really dark and had a musty smell. We did not use that level at all, but didn't feel like we missed out, since there was two other pools as well.
