Stirling Court Hotel, Stirling
Best bargain of my week in the UK.
An amazing bargain, with a tub thrown in to boot. Comfy, friendly, and quiet.

Good value. Basically a dorm room but with a bar downstairs. Nice breakfast.

If you like a good nights sleep its not for you
Builder skimped on sound proofing. If you get a ground floor room and have a heavy footed insomniac upstairs kiss goodbye to a decent sleep. and of course voices carry as well. we shifted to upstairs end room for second night. Better, but then tv wasn't working properly and could not be replaced that evening. staff good, location very nice, breakfast excellent

A last minute catch while we drove in town. Great hotel and restaurant with very attentive staff.

Off the beaten path good for an inexpensive stay
Very inexpensive hotel stay. The showers had good water pressure and even temperature. We specifically booked twin beds and when we got there were told they were out so my daughter and I had to share a bed. They moved us the next day to a new room for the following two days of our stay. We did not realize the pool was not attached to the hotel. My daughter bought a brand-new swimming suit to use and we could not. Another part of the problem was the pool was not open when we wanted to use it. Also we did not realize breakfast ended at nine on the weekday and we missed breakfast one time. There are no clocks in the rooms and the first day they missed our wake up call. We happen to wake up at 8:30 when our wake up call was 8:15 AM. That's one of the biggest fears you have as a traveler and it emphasizes why it's a fear. I really want to give this review a glorious score, but too many little things went wrong. I would probably stay there again only because my son is on campus at the University. Otherwise it's not close to anything for walking distance other than the William Wallace monument and our journey to the top of Dumyat.
