Excellent Boutique hotel in Langhe!
The staff goes out of their way to make you feel at home. Very resourceful. Being hotel on really nice grounds. In close proximity to many wineries in the Barolo area. Very nice breakfast as well. The only issue is the spotty wifi throughout the entire hotel.

Es ist ein wunderschönes Hotel mit tollster Lage! Wir hatten einen kilometerweiten Blick vom Bett aus. Was allerdings sehr schade war, das wir die einzigen Gäste waren und zu dieser Zeit das hauseigene Restaurant geschlossen war. Somit mussten wir immer irgendwo hinfahren und auch das war schwierig, da viele Restaurants am Montag geschlossen hatten. Ansonsten waren alle sehr nett und bemüht uns den Aufenthalt zu versüssen.

Viaggiavamo con amici e le 2 camere che ci sono state assegnate erano collocate in un corpo separato dalla struttura principale dell'albergo e non erano minimamente paragonabili a quelle delle foto esposte sul sito. Alla nostra richiesta di soggiornare in stanze come quelle mostrate sul sito, è stato risposto che, poiché avevamo prenotato tramite hotels.com, non potevano darci stanze diverse. Inoltre, abbiamo avuto problemi con riscaldamento ed acqua calda e, nonostante le numerose proteste sin dal primo giorno (e addirittura la serata del 31 dicembre passata a cercare di aiutare il personale dell'albergo a comprendere la ragione del guasto alla caldaia), solo l'ultimo giorno della nostra permanenza in hotel siamo stati trasferiti in stanze di categoria superiore e nelle quali funzionavano riscaldamento ed acqua calda. Colazione inaccettabile per un albergo a 4 stelle: pochissima scelta. Il personale si è dimostrato inadeguato a gestire qualunque problema o esigenza del cliente. Da ultimo, sto ancora aspettando che l'amministrazione dell'albergo mi invii la ricevuta per la prestazione alberghiera resa.

Struttura da sconsigliare!!!Esperienza pessima!
Abbiamo soggiornato all'Antico Borgo Monchiero per 4 notti nel periodo di Capodanno. Nonostante avessimo prenotato una junior suite, ci hanno assegnato una camera definita "vintage" dalla signorina alla Reception: si trovava in un'ala separata della struttura, rispetto al corpo centrale, ed abbiamo notato subito che era vecchia e malandata (tra l'altro gli arredi erano rovinati ed era molto fredda). Abbiamo chiesto subito di cambiare camera ma ci hanno risposto che non era possibile e che non c'erano soluzioni. I problemi però non sono finiti qui: infatti i riscaldamenti non funzionavano e l'acqua del bagno era fredda. Di fronte ai nostri reclami il personale dell'hotel ha chiamato un tecnico per riparare la caldaia, ma ogni tentativo è stato vano. Abbiamo nuovamente fatto presente che né le camere, né il servizio (per non parlare della colazione) fossero da quattro stelle (non ci era mai capitato di non avere l'acqua calda in un albergo!!!) e tantomeno all'altezza del prezzo pagato, ma anche il personale era decisamente sprovveduto ed il Direttore non era presente nella Struttura. L'ultimo giorno ci hanno "concesso" una nuova camera, ma la nostra vacanza era ormai finita ed è stata una soluzione decisamente non tempestiva.
