Glendona House, Crumlin
Everyone was incredibly nice and friendly and the house was antiquely beautiful. When we arrived, I asked about the horseback riding (as it's listed as an amenity) and was told by the girl who led us to our room that the horses were for the owner's daughters. Being able to ride was the entire reason I booked a place so far out of Belfast. That combined with the dreadful smell of the pig farm next door drove us to stay only one of the nights out of multiple that we had booked. We cut our trip short and went elsewhere.

Poor lighting and foul smell
When we arrived, it was late and it was totally dark. We stumbled through the yard until we got to the front door. There was an intense smell and not sure if it was the sewer.

Gail was a great host. She couldn't have done more to make us feel welcome. The hotel is lovely. It isn't the grandest place, but the room is clean and comfy, her dogs are lovely and the breakfast is absolutely amazing. We would definitely stay again!

Great stay
The owner was amazing! She was so nice and accomadating. She upgraded our room to a cottage just because it was available and we were a family. She gave us great ideas for things to do and the breakfast was good too!
