Albany House, Dublin
We loved the Albany house. We were in a bottom floor room, so no view but we also had no issue with any noise like the few reviews I read talked about. They also let us check in early, which was awesome since we just arrived from the states. Also very walkable area.

Crowd noise on street till 3am. I work nights, but don't want to stay up on vacation when I'm not getting paid. Bathroom so small, had to poo poo sitting side saddle.

Dublin Hotel - Excellent Value
Our family stayed at Albany House for 2 nights, and we were generally pleased with the hotel. The location is excellent, and the rooms were clean and cozy. The buffet-style breakfast was good. Discounted parking is readily available just a couple of blocks away.

impressed one tough customer!
The only down side was all the stairs, but i did not ask before booking. The people were super and we enjoyed our stay. The kitchen staff were outstanding and impressed even my hard to impress husband! I will stay here again.

Stairs. Nasty, evil stairs.
The hotel staff was amazingly friendly and helpful. And the location and the history of the location were lovely. The room had paint peeling from the walls, the beds were incredibly uncomfortable and hiking up four flights of stairs multiple times a day was awful. I wouldn't stay there again simply for that reason.
