Lots of bad with the good (view)
This is a tough one. Room and view were great. However......Internet barely worked in room, we were basically stranded without cell service AND internet and property didn't seem to care. There were only TWO towels total in room, in a “honeymoon Suite", no hand towels and no wash cloths....I booked 5 pm massage for my daughter, they knew we were going to pay by CC, then “claimed” the cards wouldn’t work. This screwed up our whole afternoon, forced us to pay 50É more for massage. No concern for customer at all. I had to hail down guy to try to fix Internet….said it was working but it still isn’t one day later. Diana was great, but the young girl in the office was not friendly and could have cared less for the customer! For the price you are paying, one would hope that they would want to make your stay more pleasant.

Don't stay here until they fix it
Everything in oia is old so that's not he issue, this place was not taking care at all... no light bulbs, the beds were hard as a rock... and wifi didn't work at all.... oh and do not arrange a transfer with them... they are careless and horrible at servicing the guest... let's just say that I end up taking a regular taxi from outside the airport which turn out to be a much better experience.

great room, terrible staff.
The room was lovely, but staff was a huge hassle. It appears that one company manages a large number of these smaller hotels (of which the VIP Suites is one). The "office" is about 1/4 mile from the room. Also, the porters were the worst!!

Do not choose this hotel
The short conclusion to this long comment is: do not choose this hotel. The reason is simple: the price (over USD 300 per night) you pay is not proportional to the service you get. Here is why: -- The hotel claimed to offer free wi-fi but there was no signal at all, and there is a notice in the room saying that the wi-fi signal may be poor or not working (in fact always the latter case). -- We were assigned to a certain suite with a number, but there was no number outside the house, and even worse, the name "VIP Suites" never appears. I can assure you that unless you pay very good attention, you won’t find the way back after going out. -- Our air-conditioner was not working well, and when we called someone, he did nothing except to restart it, and said this was what he could do as the machine was old. Some lights kept flashing (and the lights outside our house was not working) and again the staff said they could not be fixed immediately. -- When checking in the bell boy who helped carry our two suitcases asked for tips, which is not professional. Apparently since I did not give much, he only helped take one suitcase during the checkout and asked me to take the other one. -- Our suite was close to the sea level so there is a long way uphill to the city centre, which could be a problem. -- There were no slippers in the room and many other facilities are missing.
