Good hotel if you are in La Paz for business
Seven Crowns El Centro is a very nice hotel with a wonderful staff. The rooms were spacious, but call to confirm your room set up if you want more than one bed. The location was walkable to most of the touristic parts of La Paz, and just up the hill from the Malecon. Overall we were very happy with our stay, although not all that pleased that what they called a balcony in the Jr. Suite was just waist high bars by the window, and nothing you could sit out on. The room was spacious, the bathroom nice, and the shower large. The bed was comfortable, and the bedding was nice. We stayed two times, once in a standard double room, and the other time in a Jr. Suite. The standard double room was just that, a king sized bed, and a table with two chairs to sit by the window. At least it had a real, if small, balcony looking out over the street. The Jr. Suite was spacious with a bedroom with two queen beds and a living room, kitchen (w/a full sized frig), and dining area. No kitchenware is provided, and if you ask at the desk, what is available is very limited. So don't plan on any real meal preparation. As I said, the balcony was a waist high railing outside the window, and not a real balcony. Lots of free parking, and easy to get to from out of town or the airport. I would stay there again.

our room was a bit of a mess, the bathroom door handle was half missing, the toilet would barely flush, the air conditioner did not work but the staff was super friendly and the neighborhood is great - walking distance to the malecon, lots of restaurants and bars really close by, even a grocery store just a block away...

A one night stay at the seven crowns
We live in Loreto Baja Sur Mexico and we went down to spend one night In La Paz to take our dog to the vet. I had heard about the nice hotel in the nice restaurants nearby. The room was on the small side but everything about it was first class the only thing that needed some attention would have been the towels as all three that were in the room were threadbare around the seams. We had breakfast in their small restaurant, if I was going to do it again I would go else where as there are much better places for breakfast in La Paz. All in all the stay was good, very quiet neighborhood with great restaurants close by

Perfect getaway
Clean small hotel with a perfect location. Great roomy showers. Rooms are average size, the entire hotel is very very clean and the staff are very professional. Walking distance to the best restaurants of La Paz.

Not the best, but OK as a fallback option
Facilities are somewhat decaying (shower knobs all fell off), the air conditioner is the type that is either full blast freezing cold or nothing at all. The wifi is weak and connection slow. The swimming pool has few chairs and even fewer shady spots, and is only big enough for a few kids at a time. Breakfast is not included, although there is an attached a la carte restaurant that's not bad. We were charged for telephone calls that didn't go through. On the plus side, the service is very friendly, the rooms are clean, and the location is only a few blocks from the Malecon. It wouldn't be my first choice for La Paz, but I'd stay there again, if, as was the case on this spring break trip with the family, there were no other available options.
