Don’t be fooled by the pictures. There is no pool on the property. No restaurants on the property. The deck is blocked off with caution tape because it’s dilapidated. The carpets are old, worn out, discolored, and dated. As are the rooms. When we checked in at 4:00 pm, a dig next door would not stop barking and the toilet wouldn’t flush in our room. I called the front desk. She explained to me that it was a pet friendly hotel and if I didn’t like it, I could check out. We get back to the hotel post game, at 1:00 am. Our deadbolt key would not unlock the door. After an hour and a half, the maintenance man climbed through the ceiling to unlock the door. We were offered another room, but our luggage was in that room. After unlocking the door, the desk attendant said for us to gather i things and she would move us so we wouldn’t be locked out again. So we get everything onto the cart, get to the front desk. The maintenance man said they didn’t have any other rooms and there was nothing wrong with the room we had. I asked what happens when we can’t get in again. He said, it’s 2:30 am, where you need to go. I paid $215 per night for this hotel. You don’t get to ban me to my room! We were not even in that room a total of 10 minutes. He offered no solution but to “check you out of the hotel”. So at 3:00 in the morning we were basically put out. There was no other vacanciesbecause it was game day in Tuscaloosa. So I was forced to drive 3 hours home. I’d only recommend to a dog!
