Booked a superior suite but was given wrong room!
I am giving this hotel a 2* because we were put in the wrong room! we booked a SUPERIOR SUITE which on the description says 2 bedrooms. We checked-in and was given a triple bedroom. We asked the receptionist and she insisted that we booked a regular suite and not a 2 bedroom suite! We showed our booking and the description but she didn't move us to the right room. Was very disappointed. We were very excited to have a big room and hang out in there as we were a party of 7 people with 3 different room bookings. I don't understand how that was misunderstood. The booking clearly stated that we had a superior suite 2 bedroom. I really wanted to give this hotel a 1* because of this. But on the bright side, the riad was beautiful overall and the waiter was very nice and friendly. The receptionist was alright, but didn't know how to handle the situation.

Overall great experience and great value for a family of 4. The ONLY downside was the local noise which kept us from getting a good night sleep. Once we brought this to their attention, they were nice enough to change our room to quitter side and offered complimentary Hamam (bath middle eastern style).

Great place to stay, great location, great staff.
The Hotel was great. It's a beautiful hotel and it was super clean. Moona and the rest of the staff were fantastic. They helped us book trips to Essaouira and a camel trek to Zagora. They even held our luggage while we were doing an over night camel trek. The rooms were great, the location is amazing with quick and easy access to Djemaa el-Fna. What's really crazy is that you are right on the main square and you it wasn't loud or noisy at all. You go from chaos outside to complete peace inside. It was a great place to stay, the staff was fantastic. They gave us suggestions for places to eat that were all great. They even gave us a run down of what to do and how to get around the town. All in all, should we return to Marrakech, we will stay at Mabrouk again. It's beautiful and clean and everyone was super helpful.

Spend a little extra $$ to get the SUITE
Our group of 7 arrived around 10am and our rooms were not ready so we stored our bags in their office and went about our day. We came back around 6 in the evening to check in. I booked two regular rooms and a suite for 3 people. They take copies of all guests staying in the room. There was a bit of a mix up because apparently there were two Jorge’s staying at the same hotel. They were about to give us an extra room but I knew it had to be a different Jorge. Anyways, we got that resolved. There's a fee per person after check out - 6€ I was a bit disappointed because this hotel was going through renovations so there was a lot of banging and welding. It stopped around 7pm. The fountain in the middle was not working. Our rooms were quite small but it was clean. The safe didn’t work because it was missing batteries. I had called and the receptionist said he would bring up batteries and never did. The shower glass door didn’t close all the way. There is one bottle of body wash and 1 bottle of shampoo. The next day when the house keeper came, they took away our floor towel and hand towel. Hair dryer is quite weak There’s a minibar - drinks are not complimentary. Electrical outlets were not screwed in tightly so it was difficult to plug in our chargers. Wifi was spotty. The 3-person suite was BEAUTIFUL and spacious. I recommend spending a little extra $$ to get this and you won't be disappointed.

Home from Home, everything right on the doorstep
I have stayed many times at the Ryad which right on the door step for everything about, get quiet enough for a great nights sleep. All rooms are very well decorated in traditional feel, clean and comfortable beds with excellent linens and towels, TV, fridge, air conditioning, lovely bathrooms with constant hot water, good free wi-fi. The staff are excellent very welcoming and its a home from home for me. I can really recommend this Ryad and will be staying again for sure.
