Hot and Bothered in the STANFORD HOTEL
Front desk friendly & professional.Spoke fluent English. On 12th floor, overwhelmed by the HEAT in hall way!Evident NO air conditioning being used in halls. In Korea, must use your room key to turn on electricity, no surprise that room was not cooled. After 2 hours, with air conditioning running, the room was at about 86 degrees. Front desk clerk said that the controls in the rooms do NOT control the temperature of each room in hotel, and that it is centrally controlled.Asked that I please contact him if it did not improve. EXHAUSTED BY NOW, fell asleep, awakening, room no different, woke up sweating. Reported this that morning.Returned that evening, air conditioning in hall was now finally running and room stayed at about 80-82 degrees, slightly cooler than the night before, but still not at level we are accustomed to for sleep. Night before departure, inquired about airport shuttle. Reassured that buses ran every 30-40 min, given a print out of bus schedule. Was told could use luggage dollies to load luggage in the morning.Adult daughter went down 15 min before bus was to arrive, asked MANAGER at the front desk for use of dolly.Said he would send someone up, however, no one came.Got the dolly, loaded luggage ourselves, helpful door man, got to the bus at 1 min past the time the bus was to arrive. We waited in the rain on & off for next bus. It ALSO NEVER CAME.Hailed a cab & paid 55,500 WON to the airport. DO NOT DEPEND ON WHAT IS ADVERTISED AS A HOTEL AIRPORT SHUTTLE!

Best for your KINTEX exhibition attend.
This hotel is an absolutely right choice for every purpose. Hotel has everything you would need and the friendly staffs are ready to help you. Will be back whenever I go to Korea for KINTEX exhibition. KINTEX is just 15~20 mins drive distance through 24hrs no-traffic jammed the 2nd Jayu-highway.

hotel ok, few nuances
The hotel was good. Front desk staff made it clear they didn't like Hotels.com or Expedia bookings. They tried to charge my credit card again with a hold because they stated that Hotels.com didn't charge. They kept this up even after showing my Hotels.com receipt. I had to speak to the manager to get this resolved. The food is mediocre and expensive. And the listed hours for the shops and restaurants do not match actual hours. Room had aged decor but it was clean
