Beware of extra cost.
The price we were charged for this hotel from hotels.com was included taxes. After the stay we was charged € 9,62 extra in city taxes. When we arrived at the hotel the receptionist told us to use the parking house next of the hotel because they have agreement with this parking house. I ask the receptionist what about if we took out the car during our stay. This would not be a problem, I just collect the receipts for the Parking and they would refund the cost after the stay. When our stay was finished I gave the receptionist the receipts but then the receptionist didn’t know anything about any arrangements with the parking house, and the hotel wouldn’t’ refund the parking cost as first agreed. The hotel also tried to charge for a breakfast we haven’t had. Take care of those surprises. I’m not sure to visit the hotel again.

Great place
We arrived at the hotel around midnight. The receptionist was very nice, check-in did not take a very long time, which is great when you arrive so late. The room is great, except its a bit too crammed into a smaller space, but the bed is very comfortable, the bathroom is great too. The only unfortunate thing are the bathroom doors, I really do not understand whose idea it was to put sliding doors onto a bathroom that you cannot lock and if you put it in the middle, you can see the room through cracks next to the door, because it just slides left and right without covering your viewpoint, its just a bit strange to be sitting on the toilet and be able to see the closet in the hallway at the same time or the bed where the other person you are with is trying to scroll through Facebook on their phone.

Nice hotel with good breakfast
The standard room can be quite small but is in excellent shape and design and the windows (which only can open a crack) effectively blocked out sound from the street below. Our sons had an adjacent room at the same price and this was a bit bigger. Good location, newly renovated, friendly reception and a nice buffet breakfast with good quality bread and jams and included cooked options. We had a deal with free breakfast from the hotels.com page. There was a capsule machine in the room and the shower held plenty of hot water. They give you a tag for the door to put out to say that you refrain from having the room cleaned for one day and in exchange they give you a voucher for five euro at the bar to be claimed in the reception. Worked for us since we stayed for a few nights. Only once per visit though.

Good
Convenient location
This hotel is very clean, beautifully appointed and the reception staff extremely helpful. However with no in-house restaurant for lunch or dinner, ( you have to go out for food unless you want to order from an italian take-away menu) an average breakfast with no fresh decaffeinated coffee (only instant) available, no public rooms apart from the breakfast room with a small seating area in the corner which serves as a bar (no one around when we went in for an evening drink), this is basically a nice bed and breakfast hotel. Nothing more. Not what we expected when we booked a 4/5 star hotel and, for us, not good value for money.

Very Good
Great value for money
Lovely hotel, small rooms so if you need space this may not be for you but for us it was perfectly sized. Close to the train and underground stations so easy to get around, but it was further out of the action than I was expecting so a lot of time spend on transport (or take bikes, it's a great city to cycle around). Really good value for money, great little places a short walk away to eat and drink (highly recommend '1900 Cafe' for brunch and jazz bar 'The Hat' for cocktails). Comfortable beds, great shower and really quiet (felt like the only people staying there in height of season!) Staff always welcoming with a smile which was lovely- overall, we really enjoyed our stay
