Small boutique hotel in nice section of paris
Easy to find hotel very short walk from orange line metro. ( 1 block) Restaurant and grocery stores on same block. Quiet area, not much night traffic. Staff was pleasant and helpful. i would stay here again.

Rude owners, no iron, access by spiral staircase
I booked the hotel for a superior double room, it was under the notion that the hotel had listed it had an elevator available. Upon checking in, we got given room number 608 which he told us was a superior double room, but in fact it turned out to be a comfort double room, smaller size. The two brothers that own the hotel were rude, aggressive, not service oriented, and extremely condescending as if we were bothering them when we asked them for the following: 1. To swap to a room with an elevator access as we were traveling for a tradeshow with 6 suitcases. Their response was NO, we gave you the best room in the hotel. Instead of trying to accommodate us and offering a solution of perhaps upgrading and paying extra, their response was literally: You don’t need to travel with 6 suitcases, two are enough. 2. The room we were setup in required to walk through an external hallway (in 94 degree heat, but that’s ok) walk down 4 steps, then hike up a narrow staircase with about 30 steps to get to the second level where our room was located. With 6 suitcases you can imagine how challenging this is. 3. They do not provide irons and offer you one option to iron in the basement on a low table with a piece of cloth. 4. the noise level from the food parlor in the courtyard when their staff was preparing breakfast was loud. 5. in summary, never returning to this hotel

Worst Customer Service Ever - Book Anywhere Else!
Save your troubles and book anywhere else! 1. Checked in around 2PM and take a nap. Wake up to faint knocking and as I open my eyes, someone is walking into our room! I run downstairs to find out what is going on and I get a list of excuses. The breach of privacy! What if we weren't taking a nap? I was absolutely appalled. 2. Leave for the day and ask for our room to be cleaned. I leave my toothbrush in a holder on a cabinet in the bathroom. I come back to find my toothbrush holder where I left it, but the toothbrush itself is in my makeup case on the nightstand. I march downstairs and have a lengthy conversation that no one is to enter our room for any reason for the rest of our stay. 3. Next day, our Do Not Disturb sign is hanging on our door when we leave. We come back, the sign is gone and our room has been cleaned. I go downstairs to inquire about yet another incident and get, "what do you want? She's a 50-year-old woman!". I demand to speak to the manager and am forced to write a hand-written note. Asked for front desk guy’s name but he refuses to give it to me. He is also talking badly about me to another Parisian (yes, I understand). When I asked if this note would actually get to the manager, all I got was a shrug. At the same time, this lady is having similar problems with the front desk guy. I demanded a partial refund but they wouldn’t even get back to me. WORST SERVICE EVER. DO NOT BOOK.

The hotel is very nice, the rooms were comfortable but a little small, the breakfast was excellent, and the staff are very nice and helpful. The location is excellent for walking or getting on the Metro, however, it is close to several nightclubs and cafes that stay open late, the streets became noisy at all hours of the night. I would stay there again, but would request a room that faces the garden rather than the street.

This hotel must have been newly done. Everything is new and clean. So that helps. Staffs are friendly and helpful. Great location and not noisy at all. Recommend!
