Great for a night or a month.
Great central location. It's an apartment not just a hotel room. Kitchen, laundry individual wifi. It was perfect for our one week stay.

Exceptional 10.0
There are far more good things to say than bad. The bad things are more small oddities than complaints. There are no Kleenex. They refuse to leave a hand towel in the 1/2 bathroom. The cleaning service must be short handed. They finish pretty late (6pm?)and rush through (pillows still had head indent, forget to leave toiletries). There are zero drink or snack options inside. Two big closets and only had 6 total hangers! WiFi is good. Desk service is good. There isn’t a convenient drop off spot so if you have anyone delivering you things, prepare accordingly. They do a fantastic job of blending in so people miss where the front door is. We’ll definitely stay again if we have the opportunity.

Good 6.0
Nice room but super rude service
The large rooms, which have a living room and kitchen, plus a bedroom, were nice. The staff were rude across the board, from check-in when I asked if there were any rooms available to check in early, and the agent raised his eyebrows, laughed, and said "uh, no. you'll have to come back at 3." When they left a $250 hold on my credit card longer than they should have, I called the front desk again and was hung up on by another agent. I won't stay there again. There are plenty of hotels in DC, and you shouldn't have to put up with junk service.

Poor 2.0
Terrible service. Don’t do business here!
Our flight (My spouse & I) to Washington DC was cancelled, I called the hotel to cancel and they still charged me for the full cost of what my stay would have been. I told the hotel official that I needed to cancel the reservation. She told me that my request had be well noted and referred me to to discuss my refund option. The official even gave me the number to call Because I was stranded at the airport I missed, a digit in the phone for that the Aka white official provided me. I called Aka White House again to verify the phone number that I was provided and I called right after and informed them of my cancelled flight as well. I also called American Express from the airport and reported my cancelled flight as well since I booked my flight and hotel with my Amex card. Aka White House told Amex during an Amex inquiry into the matter, that I didn’t deserve a refund because they had no records that I had called them about my cancelled flight. Amex told me all that the needed for me to receive a refund back on my card was proof that I called Aka White House because the hotel had me down as a no show. Amex refunded me for my cancelled airfare ticket but didn’t refund me for the almost $500 Aka White House charge because the hotel didn’t have proof that I called them.
